Naturalist Apprenticeships

Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.

(Open to all genders, 7 humans max, 5 weekend committment)

Who are the non-human Animals who l live amongst?

How can I change my own behaviors in order to be treated as one of the gang and better my chances of observing them without causing disruption?

Can I suss out from these marks in the sand who made them, how many there were involved, what they were up to and when they were here? Holy crap - what if it were written in leaf litter?

Did the wind just shift?

Who voiced that sound and what did they say?

Start your never-ending journey into the art of tracking and animal behavior through study, play, community building, discussions, story sharing and of course lots of immersion through outdoor exploration in a variety of ecosystems. It’s time to put away your newspapers and devices and learn to read the local news! It’s full of sweet stories, romance, drama and “ necessary” violence but will make you feel more alive and grounded than hearing about what us fear-infested Humans are up to.
